Large Hail Storm Hits North Fort Worth and Brings Golf Ball Sized Hail.
Just a couple nights ago on Wednesday April 28th, 2021, a massive thunderstorm swept through the northern Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. Starting from the Lake Worth area it swept across the metro through northern McKinney. This storm brought severe thunderstorm warnings, winds reaching up to 60mph, golf ball sized hail, and a massive amount of lightning.
The above image provides the exact locations hail was spotted including the it's size. Hail that is 1.5 inches in diameter can be considered golf ball size. There is one location that reported up to 3 inches which is roughly the size of a baseball or apple! From the map it is clear that Keller, Saginaw, Eagle Mountain, and Lake Worth, TX all received a decent amount of hail.
